Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is:
January 30: Books I Can’t Believe I Read
There are some books that I’ve read and then just had to sit and hold them because they were so fulfilling. So here are just a few wholesome books that I feel truly blessed to have read.
In parts, these books were sad, tense, or frustrating, but I closed the last page of each one feeling more warm and emotionally nourished for having read them.
Are there any books that made you feel this way? Which wholesome books would you recommend reading for a pick-me-up?
I loved Fangirl and The Hate U Give. I really want to read Moxie, The upside of unrequited and The book thief, which I own, so let’s see which one I get to read.
The three you mentioned are all awesome books, I’d certainly recommend Moxie and Upside of Unrequited for fun, feminist reads, and The Book Thief is just sublimely good. It’s one of my favourite books ever. 🙂
Lets see when I’ll be able to read them since my TBR is endless
Great choices!
Thanks m’dear! 🙂
