Top Ten Tuesday // Romance books I want to read in 2021

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s theme is:

February 9: Valentine’s Day/Love Freebie

I’ve never really been into Valentine’s Day because *raises megaphone* it just a capitalist invention designed to make feel the need to prove our love for others by spending money.

But, since I’ve been loving romance recently, for this week’s post I’m sharing 10 romance books I want to read in 2021.

Some of these have released in the last few years, but some aren’t out yet and I’m counting down the days until I can pick them up.

Don’t ask me to choose which of these I’m most excited for, I literally can’t do it. But I *can* tell you which I’m going to read soonest, and that’s Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade, as it’s our February and March book club pick for the Sprayed Edges book club. (Also the other four aren’t out yet, so I *have* to wait. Cry.)

Again, I’m really looking forward to reading all of these, especially because they contain fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, and rivals-to-lovers, which are some of my favourite tropes.

Do you enjoy romance books? Which books are you looking forward to picking up this year? Would you recommend any of these if you’ve read them?

  1. I love romance, although I’m pretty picky about what I will/won’t pick up. The only one I’ve read so far from your list is Take a Hint, Dani Brown (it’s brilliant and Zaf is an absolute DARLING), but I have Spoiler Alert on my TBR x

  2. I am with you about Valentine’s Day. I will never buy into it, especially since both my parents birthdays slot between it, so I’m spending enough money haha. I feel like The Hating Game has been on my list for aeons. I really should make the effort to read it.
