Top Ten Tuesday // Books I hope Santa brings

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s theme is:

December 22: Books I Hope Santa Brings

I usually ask for books from my grandma and aunties for Christmas, but because we can’t see each other this year, we’ve decided to send vouchers instead.

This means that I haven’t asked for any specific books from my family, but a few good friends have asked for my wishlist, so I have an inkling that I maaaaay be getting a couple of books from them.

So, I’m sharing a few books from my WL that I’d love to receive this Christmas as e-books or in physical form.

I read These Violent Delights and Boyfriend Material on e-book and I enjoyed them both so much that I’d love to add physical copies to my collection. I also have an e-book of The Silence of Bones that I need to finish but would I love to finish it as a hardback.

With The Silvered Serpents and Jade War, I have the first books in both series so I’m hoping to add the sequels to my shelves at some point, then get reading.

I’m beyond keen to read The Rise of Kyoshi, The Hating Game, and The Wicker King, so I’ve popped them all on my WL. I would also love to get Iron Heart in hardback so that I could complete my matching set of the Crier’s War duology. The covers are so beautiful that I get EMO just thinking about them.

Speaking of beautiful covers, the UK edition of Cinderella is Dead is just stunning and I would be very happy if Santa brought me a copy.

Which books are you hoping to receive this holiday season?
