Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is
December 1: Books I Want to Read Again
I recently wrote about whether or not we can ever recapture the feeling of reading a book for the first time again during a reread. I don’t tend to reread very frequently, but for today’s post, I’m going to share books that I’m actually super keen to reread again.
Boyfriend Material

I only read this in June this year, but I already want to reread it because it’s one of the funniest books I’ve read in 2020. I loved the enemies-to-lovers dynamic and the slow-burn romance was just *chef’s kiss*
The Empress of Salt and Fortune

Again, I only read this over the summer, but I low-key want to reread it because the second book in the Singing Hills Cycle, When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain, comes out this month.
Red, White & Royal Blue

I read this back in December 2019 and absolutely loved it. It honestly stole my heart. And as it’s been a year since I first read it, I could fancy a reread.
Nimona

This quickly became one of my favourite graphic novels because of its witty dialogue and unique art style and I definitely want to reread it soon.
My So-Called Bollywood Life

I was lucky enough to pick up an ARC of this at an event and I remember really enjoying the story and loving the main character. It’s been more than a year since I read it though so I could quite fancy picking it up again to see if the story still hooks me in the same way.
My Brother’s Husband

I literally only read this a month ago, but I already want to reread it. It’s so heart-warming and uplifting and discusses some big issues like homophobia and single parenting.
The Candle and the Flame

I adored this book when I read it because the romance and character development were just fantastic. I’d quite like to read it again, but I borrowed it from my library, so I’ll have to wait until they’re open again (they’re closed because of lockdown) to potentially check it out.
Vengeful

I recently reread Vicious as part of Schwab Readalong and I’m now kind of in the mood to reread the sequel because I remember it being SO good when I read it in 2018, but I’ve not reread it since.
When Dimple Met Rishi

I can’t believe I read this in 2017. THREE YEARS AGO??? Time flies when you’ve always got your nose in a book. Now that the TV adaptation of this has released (Mismatched on Netflix), I could see myself reread it to see how much of the show is similar to the book.
Punching the Air

Again, I only read this a few months back, but I already want to listen to the audiobook again because it was such a powerful story, and beautifully narrated.
Which books do you want to reread? Have you read any of these?

Ooh, I think I would love to re-read Vicious and Vengeful too. In fact I just want to re-read all the VE Schwab books I’ve ever read. They are too good to be read only once.
I really want to re-read Boyfriend Material too. I read it in July and LOVED it, it was such a good book and I want to experience the story again.
I’ve been dying to reread Boyfriend Material too and I’m hoping I can do that sometime next year and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be rereading RWRB and Simon vs the Homo sapiens agenda soon
I am a massive champion for re-reading. I think the one book I’ve re-read countless times is I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios and it still makes me emotional haha. I’ve been meaning to check out The Empress of Salt and Fortune, especially after finding out the second book comes out this month.
I love rereading and need to do more of it next year, as I didn’t reread as much in 2020! I would also love to reread Red, White & Royal Blue as well as Vicious 😊 Other books I want to reread would be The Young Elites and some Rick Riordan books 😄
