TBRs and Wrap ups

September 2020 TBR // Reading as much as I can

Please continue supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. The Black Lives Matter cardd is constantly being updated with new information, petitions, and resources.

In September I’m hoping to finish some ongoing e-books and start some new fantasy novels.

I’m in a mood to read A LOT this month. I think it’s because I didn’t read as much as I’d hoped to in August so I want to make up for it in September.

I also have SO many good books lined up for September and I want to get to them all??? So, this is what my September TBR is shaping up to be.

Iron Heart

OK, confession time. I’m putting this on my TBR even though I’ve already finished it. I finished it a few days ago because I was on the Caffeine Book Tours blog tour for the book. Needless to say, I loved it and if you like, you can check out my review here.

You Had Me at Hola

52886627

This has been on my radar for a while now, as I’ve seen lots of other bloggers and vloggers talking about it. Since it’s just arrived on Scribd and I’m on a romance kick, I want to give it a go.

A Torch Against the Night

I read An Ember in the Ashes on audio in May 2020 and loved it, so I’m feeling in the mood to pick up the sequel in September.

The Man with the Glass Eye

I started the Criminal Intentions series in August and I’m completely addicted to it. The characters are brilliant and the murder mystery plots always captivate me entirely, so I’m hoping to finish book 3 and maybe read book 4 as well in September.

Punching the Air

This is a new September release and I’m really keen to read it because it’s a novel in verse, which is a style I’ve not read much of recently.

It’s about the wrongful incarceration of Amal, a young Black man, and how he finds his truth in painting and writing. I’ve seen really good reviews for this so far, and I can’t wait to pick it up.

Loathe at First Sight

48716987

I was kindly sent an e-ARC of this by the publisher and I’m hoping to finally get round to it this month. It’s also on Scribd, so I think I’m going to alternate between the ebook and audiobook.

Cemetery Boys

My pre-order for this just arrived and I want to dive in as soon as possible because it sounds SO GOOD. Aiden Thomas also just became the first trans author to hit the NYT with a trans novel, which is amazing. Huge congratulations to Aiden!

Vicious

This is our September group book for Schwab Readalong, so I’ll be rereading this throughout the month and then discussing it in our liveshow.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

50623864

I still can’t believe it, but I was lucky enough to get ACCEPTED for a Netgalley ARC of Addie (*screams*) so I’m going to pick it up a month earlier than planned. I’m ready to be emotionally destroyed.

What are you hoping to read in September? Have you read any of these books?
