Top Ten Tuesday // Books I enjoyed but don’t mention a lot (until now)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s theme is:

April 14: Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About

There are probably more books on this list than there should be because there are definitely a few books I love and forget to mention. So let’s get into them.

All three of these contemporaries were so sweet and heart-warming and I loved them. But they’ve all been out for a little while, so I feel like I don’t talk about them as much any more?? I need to rectify that.

Casual reminder that these four fantasies were brilliantly plotted with some epic world-building and I enjoyed them all SO MUCH.

*kicks your door down* I AM HERE TO REMIND YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE THESE BOOKS. They’re great and you should read them if you haven’t already please thank you, OK.

When Dimple Met Rishi is so funny and romantic, The Name of the Wind has a fantastic magic system (like, one of the best), and The Alchemist is such a spiritual, existiential book that it’ll make you feel keenly connected with the world.

Which books did you enjoy but you don’t talk about much? Have you read any of these or are they on your TBR?

Until next time,KateNEW

  1. Strange the Dreamer is one of the most whimsical books I’ve ever read! I love that duology so much. And The Name of the Wind has such smooth writing. I flew through it!

  2. I have yet to read any of these. I was reading The Name of the Wind for a bit but then I lost it (have no fear! I found it a few weeks later, hehe). I was also in a huge reading slump when I was trying to read it, too. I’m so glad you love these books!
