February 25: Characters I’d Follow On Social Media
There are some characters who I would love to follow on social media, if they had accounts.
Nathaniel from Sorcery of Thorns
Can you even imagine if Nathaniel had a Twitter account? It would be hilarious.
He’d be tweeting stuff like ‘Just knocked myself out testing a new spell. Elisabeth is now attempting to murder me with a book, gotta run.’
I’d be 100% down for his brand of humour on Twitter.
Baz from Carry On and Wayward Son
I don’t know what I’d enjoy more: Baz’s dry, acerbic wit in Tweets, or Baz taking hilarious pictures of Simon and posting them to Instagram.
Both. Both is good.
Alex from Red, White & Royal Blue
Alex was the first character that came to mind when I saw the prompt for this week’s post.
His emails and messages to Henry are so hilarious so I think his social media would also be a hoot.
Cass from City of Ghosts and Tunnel of Bones
If Cass had an Instagram account, I would follow her immediately.
I just feel like her aesthetic would be really cool. It would be pictures of her and her cat travelling to different cities, and there’d be a strange ghostly outline in each photo that no-one could quite explain.
Lou and Reed from Serpent & Dove
OK, I know Serpent & Dove is historical YA but hear me out.
Imagine Lou in the 21st Century with an Instagram account? All her photos would be glamorous selfies with Reed looking surprised in the background. And her stories would be her pranking Reed at every turn. It would be golden.
Kamala from Ms Marvel
Kamala is so funny and fiery that I know her social media would be great fun.
I think she might have to have two separate accounts for her Kamala persona and her Ms Marvel persona though, otherwise secret identities could get tricky.
Ronan from The Raven Boys
Picture this: Ronan Lynch on Twitter. His tweets would be deadpan and bitingly sharp.
Gansey’s Instagram, on the other hand, would be all soft colours and him in sunglasses with fluffy hair. I’d probably follow both.
Winnie from My So-Called Bollywood Life
I could see Winnie on every social media platform possible, updating every day.
Her tweets would be about movies she’s seen, her Instagram posts would be her day-to-day life, her YouTube channel would be full of short films she created, and her TikTok would be relationship skits.
Nina from Six of Crows
Nina would be incredible on social media. Her Instagram would probably mainly be waffles, but I’d love to see photos of the dregs, and videos of her powers.
Simon from Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda
Simon’s social media would be witty, sarcastic, and full of dog photos, which I’d be 100% down for.
We’d get photos from Waffle House, selfies of the gang, and maybe even a cute video of that Ferris wheel. ❤

Lou also made my list this week! I think her socials would be really entertaining and super witchy! But also hopefully full of lots of Reid 😂 Nina is also a pretty popular one this week and I’d definitely follow her. Great list 🙂

I would follow all of my Raven Boys on social media. They all have such distinct personalities and they’d definitely keep you entertained. I can imagine Gansey’s feed being full of nerdy facts, road trip pics, and shots of Blue, and Ronan simultaneously leaving snarky remarks in typical Ronan fashion.
