It’s not exactly a secret that I’m a big fan of the A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy, and that I love all of V. E. Schwab’s work, but I don’t think I’ve ever posted about the merch relating to her books that I often lust after.
In general I’m a big fan of merch, but I rarely treat myself to any because I’m pretty frugal. I’m more of a saver than a spender, and unfortunately this means I have a wishlist a mile long, but don’t own anything on it yet. So I thought I’d give you guys a little insight into the kind of things I’d love to add to my collection.
This gorgeous duvet is something I dream of having on my bed. I think I’d sleep soundly, dreaming of Red London.

I also adore this A Gathering of Shadows bag, which has one of my favourite quotes from the series printed on the front and Lila’s silhouette in the background. What more could I want, really?

This As Travars soy candle would make a lovely addition to my growing V. E. Schwab shelf. I bet it smells amazing and it’s vegan. *happy tears*
Bookmarks are always something I need more of, and what better a set than THESE ADORABLE CHARACTER BOOKMARKS. I could mark my page with a tiny Kell, Lila, Holland, or Rhy. I need them.

Rings are my favourite type of jewellery to wear and this ring pretty much takes the biscuit. It comes in bronze or silver (silver all the way) and I’m going to have to ask for it for my birthday (in June) unless I cave and treat myself sooner.

The Shades of Magic series is one of my all-time favourite series, so I will definitely be buying some of this merch myself. The ADSOM-inspired map is beyond gorgeous so I will buying that ASAP, and I love bookish candles so I always have a few of them on hand (don’t have a Shades of Magic one at the moment but I need to find a UK based candle company).

Oh I’m just like you, Kate, I LOVE looking at bookish merch, but I rarely buy some, because I’m a saver haha. I do LOVE this bag so, so much though. I hope you’ll treat yourself to one of these sometimes, you deserve to! 🙂
I’m exactly the same. I love bookish merch but rarely buy them because I’m a saver and think practically in term of if I’m actually going to use the product or not. Having said that I was gifted the bookmarks and they are so cute and basically just live in my copy of ACoL.

I wish I could afford more bookish merch! I have a few Schwab art prints, but that’s about it. I got my friend a Marauders’ Map version of the ADSOM map you have here, but I was very close to getting her that one/myself that one!

A couple of quote prints, a book cover print and a Lila Bard art print-most of them were gifts! Yeah it was pretty cool. I would too!
Ah I absolutely love A Darker Shade of Magic (I still need to read the third book, but I loved the first two books). The totebag you mentioned is very pretty. I just bought a As Travars candle from a Dutch bookish webshop called Letters&Lights and I love it so much ❤
