Happy 2018 everyone! I hope this year is an exciting and inspiring one for you.
I just set my Goodreads Reading Challenge goal to 80 books (yikes) and was kindly informed that I’m already behind. (HOW?) So with that in mind here’s a slightly ambitious January TBR.
I’m already two thirds of the way through Vicious and OH MY GOD THIS BOOK. I don’t know if I’m going to make it out the other side without lying on the floor for four years to deal with my feelings. I’ve also just started The Cruel Prince and it seems great so far.
Which books are you hoping to read in the first month of 2018? Have you already picked up any of the books on this list? If so, let me know what you thought!

I need to read Vicious ASAP! But I’ve finally just started ACOL, so I’ll forgive myself for not having read it yet. Although I did very nearly pick it up last summer! Let me know what you think 😅
You definitely need to give Vicious a go, it’s brilliant! 😉 Oh I 100% forgive you though if you’re reading ACOL, that was one of my absolute favourite reads of 2017 and it was incredible. I’ll be tweeting about Vicious as I continue reading it, so I’m sure you’ll see plenty of excited ramblings on there!
Glad you seem to be enjoying Vicious 😆 (although was there any doubt with Queen Schwab, I think not). I might have to reread it soon actually in preparation for the sequel! Also intrigued to see what you think of Enchantment of Ravens if you do get to it – I’m not sure whether to add it on my TBR or not. I think I’ll like it but also I feel like it’ll be one of those I just never get round to reading *facepalm*
There was no doubt I’d love it, but I’m honestly astounded by how good it is. It’s completely different to anything I’ve ever read before and I love it. I can’t wait for the sequel, I think I might end up getting a second copy of Vicious when the cover changes for Vengeful’s release. I’m keen to see what an Enchantment of Ravens is like because I’ve seen lots of really rave reviews, but then a few disappointed ones. Haha well I’ve been trying to get round to it for two months now, so I know exactly what you mean, but I’m determined to finally read it this month! Thanks for reading 🙂
I am so, so, so, so excited for The Beast’s Heart! Halfway through The Belles and is just brilliant!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of The Beast’s Heart at YALC, so I’m super keen to finally get round to it. It sounds like a retelling that’s right up my street! Oooh I’m so pleased you like The Belles, that just makes me even more excited to read it. 😀

Oooh that’s some high praise! I’ve seen quite a few other bloggers and booktubers that I follow talking about how good the trilogy is, so you’re definitely not alone in your love for it! I might have to have a sneaky look at the prices on Book Depository for the US editions. 😉
