It’s the December and I’m definitely starting to get into the festive spirit. But I’m also four books behind my Goodreads goal (75 books) with just over three weeks to go, so my TBR for this month is pretty big. No pressure then.
These are the books I’m hoping to read before the year is out:
Some of these books I’m hoping to get for Christmas, so me reading them depends on that. But even if I don’t get them, there are plenty of other books I want to pick up before 2018!

The Gentleman’s Guide is definitely one I HAVE TO read before the year is over!
Omg noooo, I’m so worried that it’s going to have me in tears! On a scale of 1-10 how likely do you think I am to cry? (Bearing in mind I cry at cute animals on TV) Yeah, that’s how I feel about TGGTVV too., I’m 50 pages in so far, so I *should* definitely finish it before the month is out!
Uh, 15? I started that book thinking “Nope, I’m not going to cry. We know how it’ll end, so I’m not. going. to. cry.” Halfway through “Nope, nope. Stop. I’m not doing this. Nope.” I kept it up until near the end when I just burst into tears. :’)
TGGTVV is on my TBR for a read-a-thon that starts December 13th. Pretty sure it’ll be the first book I pick up for that challenge, just because I want to read it, haha.
Oh nooooooooooo, I’m going to be an emotional wreck by the end! I hope you enjoy The Gentleman’s Guide when you get to it. 🙂

Thanks my lovely! I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far, but I only have an e-copy on my laptop so I’m finding it difficult to fit in the time to read it. Yes, I’ve heard some pretty rave reviews about An Enchantment of Ravens, so I can’t wait to get to that. 🙂
Haha I’m 5 books behind my goodreads challenge (It was 6 but I managed to chip away at it last week) so I need to try and read 5 books this month! My challenge was only 25 books as well. Luckily, a lot of my choices for the end of the year are comics, so that will make it easier and then I have 2 novels from the library to cover the last two!
Haha, OK, you’ve got me beaten. 😉 Yeah, comics are good for catching up on your goals; I’m going to read a graphic novel or two this month to make sure I catch up!
