Hey guys, hope you’re all having a super Friday! (The YALC schedule got released today, so I certainly am!)
The Friday 56 is a weekly blog meme hosted by Freda’s Voice. The idea is to share an excerpt from a book you’ve been reading every Friday, to promote the book or simply just to showcase your current read!
Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that’s OK.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it)
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url.
*It’s that simple
This week I decided to turn to page 56 of The Princess Saves Herself In This One quote the poem from there, as that’s going to be my next read!
when
it finally
came
time for
him to
leave,
he
packed up
all my
poetry
in a
suitcase
& took it
with
him.– first my heart then my words
I’ve been wanting to read this poetry collection for ages, so I’m definitely excited to finally dive in!
Have you read The Princess Saves Herself, or is it on your TBR? What did you think? Let me know!
Ooo, such a beautiful poem. I just bought The Princess Saves Herself in This One. I’ve been really into contemporary fiction ever since I was introduced to Lang Leav’s works. Have you read any of her collections? My personal favorite is Memories.
I look forward to reading more from you in the future Kate… Happy Reading! 🙂
