It’s that time of the week again! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish, and this week’s theme is:
June 6: 10 Books From X Genre That I’ve Recently Added To My TBR List — I want to know what books have piqued your interest lately from whatever genre you choose!
I’ve been reading a lot of fantasy books recently, and let’s be honest it’s my favourite genre, so I thought I’d go for the ten most recent fantasy books I’ve added to my TBR!
These are my ten most recent fantasy additions to my TBR, and I’m particularly excited for An Enchantment of Ravens and Children of Blood and Bone to be released! I would also have included Vengeful by V. E. Schwab, Doors and Stone by Patrick Rothfuss, and A Shiver of Snow and Sky by Lisa Lueddecke if they had had covers yet, but since they don’t come out for a while none of them do.
I know a couple of these are YA/Fantasy crossovers, but I thought I’d include them since they clearly do fall into the Fantasy genre.

Same! When will we get a release date though?? I’m desperate! Thanks lovely, I’ve got it on e-book so I’m hoping to get to it soon! I’ve not read any of her books yet, so this will be my first. 🙂
I know! I feel like we’ve been waiting forever – hopefully we’ll get one soon. I did struggle initially to get into the first book but after a couple of chapters it was fine. 😄
I still actually need to read the second book (shameful) but I’m holding off until there’s more of an indication of when the third book might be released. If we hear nothing for ages I’ll eventually just read it!
Yeah that’s fair! I just hope we get some idea soon… even just a vague time will do 😄

The Library of Fates recently caught my eye. The book sounds like my cup of tea. I’ve also been meaning to read more of Brandon Sanderson’s work. I loved the Mistborn trilogy but I’ve yet to muster the courage to pick up another series of his.
And a lot of the books you listed ate now going on my TBR list… Lol I’m currently reading shadow and bone/the Grisha series, which is fantastic so far. I love fantasy/adventure books especially dark fantasy. The assassin’s apprentice is already on my TBR list!
